February was still pretty chilly, so again we did our best to stay occupied inside. Mason has become quite the artist and has made several works of art over the last few weeks (post to come). This project, however, was more for me. I wanted to put something on the wall that goes down to our playroom (I took what was previously on the wall there and put it in Jonas' room). So we made these hand/footprint paintings. I couldn't decide whether to just let the kids have free reign and make whatever they wanted, or if I wanted to "help" out a bit and make the prints into something. I finally decided to let them go crazy on some paper, but help them with the canvas. Mason did his mostly on his own, but I helped Sage quite a bit. And Jonas, well, he required a little help too.
The final product. Mason decided to do animals, Sage wanted flowers and a butterfly, and we rounded it off with Jonas' as an underwater theme. (Note to self, have help when trying to get a 5 month old's feet and especially hand prints.)
And just because this post doesn't contain a picture of Jonas. Look at those cheeks. I could eat him.
