Nic officially finished residency this month. On Jun 15th we went to the end of the year party that the Radiology Department puts on every year. Its pretty much a roast of all the outgoing residents and fellows. Second year students make a video of a bunch of skits roasting those who are leaving and then they hand out awards and we eat good food and that's pretty much it. Nic was a little nervous about the roast since he was chief resident this year and had to make some tough leadership decisions. They went easy on him, though, and while they did roast him with the rest of them, it was obvious that they all love and respect him very much. I'm so proud of him for everything he has accomplished. Not just accomplished, but accomplished in an extraordinary way.

| Dinner ended earlier than we anticipated and we still had the sitter for a while longer, so we headed to Neilson's to celebrate with some custard. |
