Alive and well, but a little sleepy

So we made it to Utah. Yes, it has been over a month ago since we arrived. I've been a little occupied as we had to unpack, furnish and decorate our house to our liking, visit family, play with Mason, and of course...get a puppy. We are, for the most part, settled now so I no longer have the excuse to put off the blog. Oh wait. Yes I do. I have a 7 week old puppy who has needs very similar to a newborn (i.e. getting up several times a night to sit on our back step while she goes potty only to put her back in her kennel where she cries and cries because she doesn't like to be alone.) So during this precious time when both Mason and Nell (our puppy) are sleeping, I plan on getting a thing or two done without the help of two little hands and four little paws. I will, however, return next week and post all the pictures from our magnificant adventure across the country. In the meantime, enjoy this little tidbit about Vizslas (which is Nell's breed).

(oh and FYI...she is excellent with Mason. He pretty much mauls her and she loves it.)

Yippy for the update! I've been waiting to see how things look and to hear how you have been liking the change! Hope things continue to get better and less busy. We need to get together with Camille one of these days and catch up and of course re-live some of our funny days as roomies! Miss ya and can't wait for photos.

Nell huh? Well I checked out the link and I am so glad your dog doesn't stink. I was kinda worried how you would handle that with the new house and all. Yeah for puppies!

Glad that you are all settled now. I totally know what you mean about a puppy. We had one when Madi was just 6 months old and I felt like we had 4 babies. One night I let our puppy out during the winter and was tired of waiting for it to come back so I left it outside. I woke up a couple hours later to a freezing house because the puppy had pushed its way back through the door that didn't shut tight and was sleeping on our carpet. I wanted to kick it. I'm glad that you are enjoying your puppy though. We'll have to get together again sometime. You are always welcome to come up to Cache Valley and go water skiing with us.
